When I reply or forward a message in my inbox, the message is automatically
deleted. Any ideas how to make this stop?
Thanks!!

Change your Inbox view to Messages instead of your current view. That will
display all messages in your Inbox.

Thanks so much for the reply, but the view was already "Messages". I changed
it to another view and changed it back just to see if that would help, but
the emails are still deleting when I reply or forward them.
I have searched every help option I can. I am really at a loss to figure
this out.
I do appreciate you trying to help. You are the only person who responded.
Thanks!

I appreciate both of your suggestions - however this does not seem to be a
"view" issue. The mail is actually going into the deleted folder, so we can
find it again - but the attachments are gone and it is generally a bit
unnerving.
Someone has suggested to me this could be a virus. We are going to make
sure we are up to date on antivirus updates and see if that helps.

Will let you know if I find the problem.

I really appreciate all the input. Nice not to feel I am in this alone.

I would suggest the user remove the "Sort by Icon" option for the view.
As soon as the message icon changes, it is sorting out of view.

From your Inbox, go into Tools and Options. At the Preferences tab, click on
the Email options button and then click on Advanced email options. Make sure
that you have Save forwarded messages checked for one thing.

That was important information you left out. If the messages show up in your
Deleted Items Folder, then you should examine your rules.
