I have no messages coming into my outlook inbox. I knew I wasn't getting
them so I did a find/search and they're there but I can't get them to come to
my inbox like they always have done.

Please tell me what settings to look at and/or reconfigure etc., Thanks

Where are you finding them? Are you using some spam software or have a
filter set up to divert them?

So how is using Find or Search going to find mails that are buried in
your PST file? Find/Search won't tell you if you have new mails. Use
the webmail interface to your mailbox to see if you have any new mails
to receive from the mail server. If you do then Outlook should
display an error (in its Progress window, if you have it displayed) as
to WHAT is the problem.

Have you tried disabling e-mail scanning in whatever anti-virus
program that you happen to use?

Ah, so the Advanced Find that you are using *within* Outlook shows you
have new mails but they are in some folder(s) other than the Inbox.
Well, that means you have rules or filters that are moving them there.
Check what rules you have defined. Check what add-ons you have
installed in Outlook that may alter its behavior, like some anti-spam
software that you haven't learned yet.

The OP's subject refers to Outlook Express, then uses the term term Outlook
in the body.

So, we don't know which one it is?

Ah, so you are asking about Outlook and NOT about Outlook Express (as
per your Subject header). See my other reply. You have a rule,
filter, or add-on that is moving the mails.

Outlook Express 6 Main Identity
Way to the right on top bar says find
I do a search by date and it shows messages that are in the inbox
Inbox itself shows nothing
I am sorry if I can't be clearer, I'm slightly learning disabled and doing
the best I can.
Thanks to anyone with the patience to help someone who is a little slow.

At the toolbar in Outlook Express, click on view and click on current view.
See if show all messages is checked.

He's been multiposting this all over the ng's

If you want an informed response I suggest you work out whether you are
using Outlook or Outlook Express, which are two completely different apps.
And then, more importantly, stop multiposting to incorrect ng's
