Message stuck in outbox

I attempted to send an email that was too large. Now it is stuck in my outbox
and Outlook keeps trying to send it without success. How do I get rid of
this message? I cannot figure out how to delete it.

I just accomplished this by:
go to File> check work offline
Then close Outlook and when you reopen Outlook go to your outbox and
highlight the e-mail which is stuck
then delete it and then: put outlook back online.
It worked and I am soooooooooooooooohappy!
