Message recipients not receiving email



I'm not sure whether it's Outlook 2003 or 2002 that my co-
worker has but she has been having difficulty with some
email recipients receiving email from her. The items will
show up in the "sent" folder and she has verified that
the email addresses that were being sent to are valid.
She is not receiving any error messages.

Anyone have a similar experience - I'm not sure what to
try to fix this problem. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

If the mail shows up in Sent Items in Outlook it means that we've
successfully transferred responsibility for delivery of the message to the
mail server, so if it is in Sent Items but not reaching the recipients, the
place to start looking is the mail servers. I've suspected spam filters in
cases like this before, but yours is the first confimation of this being the

Rick - It turns out that our mail server was holding some of our email up
due to their spam filters acting up. You might want to check with your
service provider to see if there are similar problems. We thought we were
going crazy or something. Hope this helps.
