Message Recall

I sent out an email by mistake; so I hit the Recall
Message button. That was 2 days ago.
By now I have probably received Outlook message notices
for at least 40 attempts to recall the message, all
failing. It seems to automatically try about every hour
or so. I get this message each time (but with a
different "time" each event):

Message Recall Failure

Your message To: Name
Subject: Recall:
Sent:7/28/2003 9:42 AM

could not be recalled on 7/29/2003 11:45 AM.

How do I turn this process off?

Hi,
Strange... maybe try this.
Go to sent items.
Open the msg you are trying to recall
Go to VIEW
Go to OPTIONS
Check "Expires After" and set a time for ?2 min from now.

Did it work?
Good Luck,

Is it part of your internal mail server or was it sent to the internet.
Most likely the e-mails that are sent to the internet are unable to be
recalled.
