Hi

My TS refuses to renew Client licences. Contacted
Microsoft Licensing, who Reactivated my Server, but when
re-issuing licences comes up with with an error "Message
Number: 0xfa1".
Microsoft want to charge me to fix the problem, but as far
as I can see it is a licensing bug. Anyone had similar
experiences? The only thing changed on the W2K Server, is
that I ran forestprep and domainprep, to allow a 2003
Server to join the AD.

The only way around I can find, is that I rebuild the TS
and start from scratch, then get Microsoft to Activate my
new server. However, I cannot guarantee that the same
message will re-appear.

license key pack. Please verify your entry and try this
operation again.

Message Number: 0xfa1.

I have just been through the de-activation and re-
activation of the server with Microsoft, but still get
this error when installing clients.

You might have to rebuild your LS. Check:
