Message Format in Reply or Forward

Is it possible to use HTML as message format for reply and forward whatever
it was HTML or not? I'm running OL2003 with Word as editor.

Thanks,

Charles

You can change the format of your reply to any of the three formats but you
have to do it manually while composing the reply

On the same note is there a way of forcing Outlook 2002 to automatically
use plain text for replies and forwards even when the original mail was
HTML?

Drives me nuts having to go Format > Plain Text then clicking OK on the
bloody annoying dialogue that pops up telling me that plain text may not
have all the formatting that HTML does. Duh! That's why I want text.

I can't believe they don't have a method somewhere that disables the
automatic selection of the format.

You can have Outlook 2002 present all incoming mail to you as Plain Text,
which will cause it to reply or forward as Plain Text. See

Yeah that seems to work for personal folders. Any idea how I can
enforce text/plain replies to HTML mails in public folders?

There's no way to force plain text replies automatically that I'm aware.
