On Outlook 2003, I don't seem to be able to send emails successfully to
professors at .edu domains, and I wonder if under Tools/Options/Mail Format
Tab I need to move away from HTML format and from my selection of Word to
edit email. I know I had problems sending emails to some domains/users using
my previous Outlook 98 and rich text format. Should I change to Plain Text
and delete Word as email editor so my emails can be received and read?

Answering my own post, and hoping and MVP chimes in, I located one large
university campus services Exchange support web site that points to a
security issue using Word as the Outlook editor, and the recommendation is no
longer to use word as the email editor for Outlook. Verification from
others...?

issues using Word as the editor are long past.
You say "I don't seem to be able to send emails successfully to
professors at .edu domains" - what happens? Is there an error message? does
the email get returned? .... ?
