Message Filter Question

I'm using Vista and Office 2007.

In Outlook I am using Outlook to sort 2 different email accounts.

I use a filter to do that. That seems to be working fine.

I have other filters that look for a specific email address and specific
Phrases in the subject line.

Once it finds them I have the message moved to the "Trash bin" in Outlook.

This filter is working but it has a quirk to it. It finds the emails it was
set up for, it moves it to the "Trash Bin", but it leaves a copy in my Inbox.

Why is it doing this??
Can the filters be set to run in a specific order?
Maybe that is what is making this act weird.

Thanks

Bob

Did you add the "stop processing more rules" to your rule?

No I did not, but why would that leave a copy in my in box when I told it to
move it to the trash bin?

Because Outlook will test ALL rules against each message, so a copy will be
left in the I\nbox for subsequent rules unless you tell it not to run any
more rules.
