Message displayed to show processing is being done.

Dear Friends,
I have an unusually large query which takes a certain amount of time to
process. Before the process begins, it would be ideal if the program could
keep on displaying a message that the query is being processed until such
time the task is finished.

Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.
