Message Dialog Stays Open After Send

Outlook 2007 attached to an exchange server.

After clicking the send button the mail message dialog stays on screen and
has to be manually closed. The message is sent successfully. Anybody got any
idea what could be causing this?

Hello Steve,

Which mail message you are speaking about is it the new mail message or the
progress bar.

is your outlook running slow

let us know please, some more info will be helpful.
