We have Outlook 2007 Message Classification working fine on XP in conjunction
with Exchange 2007. Recall that this allows users to select a disclaimer to
be appended to an e-mail based on thee type of document.

I cannot make it work on a Vista box. I've double-checked the xml file &
location and triple-checked the registry entries.

Does anyone know why this won't work on Vista?

Thanks,

Mike

Diane:
I appreciate the feedback. As it turns out, it's all built-in MS
functionality. The gory details are in "How to Deploy Message Classification
for Outlook 2007" dated 2009-01-07 - basically export an xml file from E07, a
workstation registry addition, copy the xml file locally. Done.

Works great on XP and fails on Vista.

I'll check out the links you've included.

Thanks,

Mike

Hard to say why it doesn't work. Have you checked with the person or company
who wrote it?

That’s an Exchange 2007 only feature. I'm guessing its related to Vista
security.
