Message Box problem

Hi,

I have a problem that when opening a preview for a report, a message box
appears to enter a parameter value. When I click cancel, the fields in the
report do not show up, when I click ok without putting a value, the report
shows up with all fields, when I click ok and enter a value it is also fine.

Even after creating a new preview button and new report this message box is
still appearing? How can I stop it from coming?

The parameter value that it asks for is from a control that i had before but
deleted. Still, I can't find that control in the report or the form or the
subforms, then where else could it be?

Some info abt the form and report. The form contains many subforms which
appear depending on which radio button you click. There's a button called
preview report which basically list the details on the form and the subform
that is chosen. The subforms and subreports are all linked via child/master
fields. And Im using Access 2003

Thanks
Saima

Hi Saima

I have been caught with this one before. Try looking in the Sorting and
Grouping dialog on the tool-bar, it might be in there.

Thanks for your time guys. I finally found it after looking at each of the
subforms fields (and as a result very dry eyes). Thanks for you help!! :)
