merging two different presentations

Is there any way to merge two different powerpoint
presentations with different templates and have the 2nd
presentation (the one you are merging into the other) keep
its original template on the slides and not take on the
template of the presentation into which it is being
merged? Or is there a way to change a presentation's
template in the middle of the presentation?

you can bring or merge slides in an existing presentation
and keep their format by using the insert button in ppt
(choose "slides from files). Once you choose what slides
you want to merge in, don't forget to check the little
box at the bottom left hand corner that says "keep source
formatting" This should work for you
