merging to Word

I am merging an Excel data source to a Word document. I am having trouble
with my zip code column. Any zips with the four digit extension and New
Jersey zips starting with Zero all show up as just zero when I preview my
data source. I've dug through the help files and can't find anything. Can
anyone give me some pointers?

See the relevant section at http://www.gmayor.com/formatting_word_fields.htm
and if that doesn't work: From the Tools menu in Word, select Options and
then go to the General tab and check the box against the "Confirm
conversions at open" item. Then when you attach the data source to the mail
merge main document, you will be given the option of using the DDE method of
connection which should read the data as you have it formatted in the table.
