Merging new slide into existing Word notes

Guest

I have a 50+ PP presentation with extensive presenter notes in a Word doc. I need to add other slides from other presenters into my existing Word doc. How can I get these new slides into the Word doc, but still keep the numbering of the slides correct?

Diane,
I do this by sending the other presentations to Word, then selecting the
content I need, copying it, and pasting it into the original Word document.
This way, the slide numbers are not changed, but the new content can go
where ever you need it.

Post back if you need more information.

Hello,

PowerPoint does not provide that level of integration with other Office
applications. To get that kind of integration you would have to write your
own solution (e.g. VBA) or find some 3rd party solution already developed.
I see that Kathryn Jacobs has already provided a manual workaround.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) thinks that is important for
PowerPoint to provide better (or any) support for support for consuming,
viewing and/or interoperability with data and documents from other Office
applications (without having to resort to VBA or add-ins), don't forget to
send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
