merging Distribution Lists in Outlook 2007

I would like to merge 2 distribution lists and then purge the combined file to delete duplicates.

If you make a third DL that is just a nexting of the first two, that should
suffice. Outlook should not send the same message to the same address twice
if it can tell they ar duplicate addresses. Otherwise, you'll have to save
the DLs and text files and merge them yourself in, say, Excel.

Actually, I think Outlook may send it with the same recipient twice, but
that the outgoing mail server may eliminate the duplicates. Worth testing
first.
