Merging databases daily

Caroline

Hello,
I have a database that users are using remotely. I would like them to each
have their own to avoid the slowness of connecting into the main one from
home, and merge the data in the office, everyday or everytime it is necessary
-they can e-mail me their DB at the end of the day.
The users do not enter duplicates because they each work on different records.
How would I do that easily?
Thank you,
Caroline

I use Access 207 and this is what I found: "Replication is not supported in
the Office Access 2007 file format. You can use Office Access 2007 to
replicate a database that was created in an earlier file format, but not a
database that was created in the Office Access 2007 format."
Not very helpful.

So this isn't something that is done often, I'd have to work around it?

If your databases end with the .mdb file name, you can still use replication.
Otherwise you need other options.

One option would be to set up a web interface using a different database
product.
