I'm using a SUMIF function and my range is the "H" Column, and I have a test
condition, and the sum range is the "I" Column. None of the Cells in the "H"
column are merged, however a few cells in the "I" column are merged. This
causes some error in the calculation for the SUMIF function.
For example, I have a SUMIF with a test condition equal to "GA", and I3 and
I4 are merged with a value of 3. If i have H3 and H4 unmerged both equal to
"GA", it will only sum the value for I3, because the merged cell
technicallyis only I3 not I3 and I4. (I want it to sum 3 for both of them
(3+3)). I would unmerge these cells but it would affect a different
calculation.
Hope this explaination is clear enough and thanks in advance for any help.
