Merged files

I have merged 2 presentations and would now like to unmerge. How can I
unmerge them?

Try this

Open a new file
Insert > slides from files
Ctrl select the slides you want to unmerge and tick keep source formatting >
Insert
Delete the slides from the original
--

Another way:

Save the file under two different names, let's say FirstHalf.PPT and
SecondHalf.PPT

Open FirstHalf.ppt, delete the second half of the slides (slide sorter view's
easiest for this). Save.

Open SecondHalf.ppt, delete the first half of the slides, save.

Done.
 
Thanks, but now I have another related problem...when I open the pp
presentation, it still says "merging" and takes a little extra time to open.
Do I just have to live with it?
