Merge two Disks

Is it possible to merge partitions on two separate HDD's.
I use Partition Magic 8.0. Or can we do it through fdisk
if possible. I have two HDD's as Primary Master and
Primary slave the master is divided into 2 partitions c:
(system) and d: . The other HDD G: is not partitioned and
I have no programs installed except XP Pro yet, so I
could afford changing the partitions etc. Now I wish to
merge this d: and g: both on separate disks. Is it
possible ????

Only by making the whole setup into a 'dynamic disk'. And I would
strongly advise against doing that. You lose flexibility, and
arrangements that treat two physical devices as one are just gluing
together the eggs in the basket so that if one fails the other has to
all intents and purposes as well

You could with PM 8 merge the C and D - but it is a good idea to keep
the system on a compact partition; it makes a 'proper' backup by say
imaging a lot easier. Keep things separate; in that way you can secure
important things by copying to the other physical device.
