Merge replication using SSL (Https)

Dear All,
Please try to give me step by step to do merge replication using
https protocol. I am doing merge replication using http protocole, it
is working fine. But when i use basic authentication, with https
protocol it is not working.
Please help me.
Please give me a solution as soon as possible.
