Using word 2003: I have on one laptop a 3 column index - surname, given
name, page. I have on another laptop a similar 3 column index, with the same
set-up of surname, given name, page. QUESTION: how can I combine the two
indices into one single integrated index, so that the two will be combined
and can be sorted as one ? My thnx for an answer. John

Please post your question in a newsgroup supporting Word. This group is for a
different program, the database software Microsoft Access.

I would say that a database program like Access might be better for your
(alphabetized?) list of names than a word-processing program like Word, but
I'll admit it would be a big change!
