merge directories

hi , i have downloaded a program but to install it i have to merge the 2
directories can anyone tell me how to go about this i am working with vista

hi malk ,the program is autocad 2008 which has downloaded as disc 1 and disc2
both daa files i have been told to merge the two directories ,i have power
iso installed ,i have also been told that vista has this merge capability but
it is not something i am familiar with have i been misinformed? thanks .
