Menus + Toolbars disappeared

Hi there

Please can someone help me out.

When Word loads, I have no toolbars and no top menus appear. All I have is
the Blue bar at the top saying Document 1 and below that is the tab settings
for the page and then the page itself. I have tried re-installing and this
doesn't work.

Please can anyone tell me what is going on. I have Office 2000.
