menubar - File\New can you delete some of these?

I have a HUGE list under File \ New on my menubar. Is
there a way to remove some of these? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You can remove entries under 'New' using TweakUI. Under TweakUI, navigate to Templates and uncheck
(or delete if you are sure) the entries that you do not want.

Go to the registry editor. Open My Computer - HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT and find the extension(s) of files wich are in File - New
E.G. find .bmp folder in HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT open it. Find ShellNew subfolder and rename or delete it
