Menu missing in Acc97 MDE

Hi, we use a Microfost Access 97 MDE database. This database has a
custom menu in it. One of our users has managed to remove this menu.
We cannot figure out how to get it back. There are no menus visible in
the database at all now, so I don't have anything to right click on to
select Customize to bring it back. Does anyone have any suggestions on
how to bring this menu item back. I hope I've been clear enough.

Thanks,
David

All of the user's customizations to a ToolBar or MenuBar (including position
and show/hide) are stored in the system registry at..

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Access\Settings\CommandBars

In that node you will find a key for each CommandBar object that the user
has ever "tweaked". Just find the one with the same name as the missing
menu and delete it. Then give him a new copy of the file from a place where
the menu was being displayed. You should find when it opens that the menu
is back.

Thank you, that worked wonderfully.
