The menu bar in Word now covers up my title bar. How do I get it back
underneath the title bar? I can't see the name of the document or the
minimize/maximize/exit buttons.

This continues to happen after you've rebooted your machine? Which
version of Word?

I have Office 2000. If it helps, I often use the "full view" option while in
Word. Never had a problem with it; then one day recently after using full
view, it put the "file, edit, view, etc." bar on top of the title bar and I
haven't seen the title bar since!

Yes, it happens after rebooting.

Makes me want to run away, screaming <g>

OK, sounds as if your DATA Registry key may have been hosed. See if the
information in this article helps. Back up your existing key, delete it, then
start Word and see if things look "normal"? (If not, you can restore the Data
key.)

Thanks for the info; however, not being a computer guru, I don't know what
article you're talking about. Was I supposed to find a link?
