Ted

I've recently started receiving this message and don't
know what it means. The message is as follows;
The instruction at "0x77f83905" referenced memory
at "0x009a4658". The memory could not be written.

Hi Ted,

More critical than the error message itself is a description of when it
happens. Please post back with the circumstnaces of this event.

In most cases, the program crashing is explorer.exe, which then restarts
(Event Viewer ID Event 1002). I have found this to be a problem in many
systems that have been upated to XP SP1, regardless of hardware
configuration. It took me about six months looking for and asking for
remedies and I have found that a forthcoming patch in the SP 2 answered my
delimma. Click on

#appliesto, scroll down and read what this patch does and click Duser.dll to
download the patch.
