Memory

I have 2 256 MB PC100 sticks of memory installed on a Dell Dimenison 2100
running Windows 2000 Pro. Yet when I go to system information if shows that
I have only 160MB of memory. When I went into system setup it showesd one at
128 MB and the other at 32MB of memory. What is up? Why is it not 512 MB?
