memory

i have a hp pavilion 533w and i would like to upgrade the memory from 256 to
512 but do not know if i have ddr or whatever. a little info.on this problem
would be welcome.

The PC's user manual should tell you what memory your pc has. However,
according to the HP site:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/genericDocument?cc=us&docname=bph07909&lc=en
the machine has 256MB of 2100 DDR memory. Just check the link to see i have
the right machine.
