Memory test program

My floppy does not always work, so I would like to burn the program into a cd.
From this link http://www.memtest.org/ which item is the one I should
download and burnt into the cd, thanks

Note, the latest Memtest86 comes on a boot CD, this is the $$ version.
I use it.

Well, I burnt the cd and lwhen I try to boot up with cd rom as the 1st boot,
and expecting it to get ready to to the ram test, it did not happen. Glancing
thru the content of the cd, it have memtest86+1.7iso, mentest86+1.7iso.zip.
Should there be something else?

You need a cd burning program that will "burn image". This is
different than just copying the .iso file to a cd. Check your burner's
help files for "burn image" or look in all the drop down menus for
something like that. I use an older version of Nero and on mine, it's
under Recorder / Burn image.

When you find that, select the .iso file and then burn it. It should
make a bootable cd that will run the memory test. Google for BURN ISO
IMAGE and you'll find more information.
