Have a MB, Aopen ax4ge-n, which limits mem use to 2 slots of DDR333, or 3
slots of 2700.
Have 2-512meg ram installed .
Thinking of adding 512 meg ram, but must use slower ram to accomplish this.
Anyone have some advice on this matter?????
Will appreciate input.

DDR333 is PC2700. Assuming you meant PC2100 and that the CPU
is running at 133 MHz FSB, then the most efficient mode is for
the memory to run synchronously with the CPU FSB. DDR333(PC2700)
utilizes
a 166 MHz buss, which is non-synchronous, and therefore looses at lot
of
its speed advantage and is very little faster than PC2100(DDR266).
