I recently upgraded to a new computer (all items new) & I am constantly
getting a blue screen with "Memory Dump" for offline software & online
internet surfing. Even just typing up a post like this can cause it & this
was happening even before I got on the internet so I doubt it's a virus.
With my old Win98, 256RAM, 600Mhz... I could download 4 items while reading
on the internet, now I risk crashing on simple stuff.

Game Version: 1.61
Processor: AMD Athlon 2700
ASUS Motherboard A7N8X-X
Operating System / Service Pack: Windows2000 5.00.2195 ServicePack4
350Power Supply
System RAM: 512 megs
Video Card: ASUS GeForceFX5700 Nvidia
Video Card Driver Version: 3.1.3.0

Have you tried to read the blue screen. Sometimes the
driver causing the blue screen shows up in the blue
screen - upper right hand corner.

Also Check your Device configuration Manager and make
sure there are no unkown device drivers.

Stop errors are usually bad drivers or sometimes bad hardware. What is
the stop error and does it mention a driver? You can see if it is
consistent stop error by looking at system event log. If it is usually
the same stop error then it is a bad driver. If you get several
different stop errors then it is most likely a hardware problem.
