Hi,
We have recently deployed XP SP2 to several hundred pc's in our
organization. Things are working relatively well with the exception of
this very, very random error at startup. It is effecting approximately
10% of our machines, but there is no common denominator. Sometimes a pc
will do it 2 days in a row, then not again for a week or two. There is
a different .exe listed most times, however upon doing a search on the
pc, the offending file doesn't even exist. If the user continues
everything seems to work fine, but it's still very annoying.
I've also tried re-seating and changing out the Ram.
We are in a Active Directory environment, all the pc's have been
Ghosted and Syspreped using Ghost 8.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated,

Lyle

When you get this error, what is the process which is sending that error ?
have you checked the event log for more significant message?..

you said you ahve sysprep your system using ghost, what can of application
do you ahve in your image. i mean could it be a ressourec whic is sometimes
not available, like USB device or anything else like this?
