memory card reader

My computer has memory card readers for digital cameras built in (i use a
compact flash drive). However, these drives are no longer listed when I go
to My Computer. Any way I can get them to list again? Thanks

They probably connect to the motherboard via a USB cable....

Check to see if you can see them listed in the device manager?

If you don't mind taking the side off your PC... check the header cable
hasn't come off the motherboard.
 
I had the same problem and looked inside and the cable from the motherboard
was loosened from the drive.
