Memo Field

I am using Access 2000

I created a form that contains a memo field for vendor
comments. Comments (approx 60 words) were originally
added into this field using this the form. Now I want to
go back and add more comments to this field. I typed in
the additional infomation (comment #1A), even saved the
screen, but when I went back into the form my additions
were not there. I went to the design view, properties,
and looked at the field there. The additional information
I typed (comment #1A)was there. So I went back to check
the form again and the memo field still did not show the
added inform. So I tried it again, with a new line of
information (comment 2A) and the same thing happened. It
did not show up in the form view but did show in the
design>properties view. The only change is that the
originally added statement I added (comment #1A) was
replaced by the 2nd statement (comment 2A)I added.

This field is a memo field, it is not locked, it is
allowed to grow. Can anyone help me? This has never
happended before. I need help badly.

Check the form's DataEntry property. I'm betting it's set to Yes, which
means that you're form will only accept new records, not show ones already
entered.
