memo field limit 324 characters?

I have defined a Memo filed in Access and the data I'm entering gets
truncated after 324 characters. I thought I should be able to enter up to
about 65K characters.

When I reach the limit of 324 characters, each new character I enter appears
to wrap around. That is when I type in the 325th character, it gets placed in
the very beginning of the cell and the last character gets deleted.

I arrived at the 324 character number by counting my characters in Word.

What is it that I have to do to enter more characters in a Memo Field?

Probably all the data is going into the field, but you can only see a line
of it at a time. Instead of working in datasheet view, create a form bound
to your table, with a good-sized textbox on it for the memo field.

That solves it. BRILLIANT!
