Meeting Request?

When I send a meeting request via calender outlook, the
meeting is sent as an e-mail (text) and not letting the
recievers "accept" or "decline" the meeting in order to
auto-add it to their calenders? Any suggestions? Thanks
 
Outlook version? Are you using Exchange or an Internet service for your mail?

did you ever get a resolution to this problem? I am having exactly the same problems on our system
