Meeting repeat appears on its own - How to stop this?

If I reopen a meeting notice on my calendar and add / change info - WITHOUT
setting up a recurring schedule - then close the notice, the notice "becomes"
a recurring meeting on its own. Through some software glitch? I have to
manually remove the recurrence and resave to make it go away. It happens all
the time and its annoying. Any fix?

Do you have a new Dell computer? Dell place an add-in on their computers
which makes Outlook meetings recurring.

To add to what Judy said, the add-in is called Outlookaddinsetup and can be removed using Control Panel->Add/Remove programs. It may be listed under Cyberlink.
