media transfer rate, buffer to disk and internal transfer rate

one of drive performance is described as media transfer rate: XXX Mbits/sec

in seagate's,
internal transfer rate: XXX Mbits/sec

in wd's spec,
buffer to Disk: XXX Mbits/sec

in maxtor's,
NOTHING

So, I'd like to know for sure if media transfer rate=internal trnasfer
rate=buffer to disk ???

You can work it out from the RPM and the sectors per track.
So, I'd like to know for sure if media transfer
rate=internal trnasfer rate=buffer to disk ???

What if? It's Mbits/s.
What really matters is what that translates to in Mbytes per
second of user data. Unfortunately they don't say what is in that
number so you don't know if you can just divide by 8 for bytes.
