Media Player Wrapper

I need a wrapper for the media player. I don't know how to write one myself
and CFCOM is too expensive. I want to be able to control the media player
from a VB.Net program. It sure seems like Odyessy's CFCOM is the only game
in town and the price ($395) reflects it. Does anyone have any ideas?
