Hi all,

Is it possible to add the XP Home's media player a codec
to allow it to play QuickTime movies?

I obviously don't like Apple's quicktime player... ;)

Thanks.

WMPlayer does not license the Apple QT .mov or .qt format. Use QuickTime.

Windows Media Player cannot and will never be able to play MOV files as
apple won't license it to anyone else. However, there are other players out
there than can play these files back, as long as Apples browser plugin is
installed. Do a google search for a program called Media Player Classic,
sorry I don't have a link handy....
