Media center is opening most but not all of the .exe file extensio

Some how all of my Office 2007 program icons have been changed to media
center icons and when I try to open any of them the media center opens and
not the program??? how do you change the .exe extensions to start the program
they are associated with?

You would go into folder options, and file types.

This is want happens when you try to make everything intergrated, Microsoft.
Boggles my mind that MS would want office apps to open in media center, makes
no sense.
