I can't get a picture when palying movie or trailor. The movie starts to play and all I see is a hint of colors and movements in the screen. I know its playing I just can't see it. Whats wrong

Try START>CONTROL PANEL>PERFORMANCE AND
MAINTENANCE>ADJUST VISUAL EFFECTS and click the radio
button (circle w/ dot inside) next to ADJUST FOR BEST
APPEARANCE. I hope this works.

steps didn't help, then the next question is whether or not this is isolated
out to a codec that might be faulty...
