Because another program required metric measurements, my installation of Word
also uses metric. I can't find a setting to change from metric to U S
measurements. I have already changed to U S in the Control Panel Regional
setting, and uninstalled and reinstalled Word after making the change. The
program remembered my original settings and went back to metric.

Does anyone have a clue about how to change from metric to U S measurements
in Word?

Hi L.,

In Word 2007 use Office Button=>Word Options=Advanced.
In Advanced scroll down to the Display subcategory to change the measurement units.

Bob, thank you so much! You wouldn't believe how much time I spent trying to
make this change. I did not see the scroll bar on the side in the advanced
section. I feel like a dunce, but a happy one since my problem is solved.

Thanks again, LSmith
