Meant to copy and paste but cut instead, how do I retrieve doc ?

I typed out a Word document and went to copy and paste said document to a
particular web site forum. I accidently CUT the document and was unable to
paste it to the forum. I have made several attempts at recovering the
document, but all I get back is the 'subject heading' and NO document
content. Is it possible to recover the document in it's original form ?

Clicking immediately on Undo would have undone the Cut. Whether it still
does will depend upon what you have done since. From what you say you have
tried, it is unlikely.

Learn to Save before major events.

Many thanks for your advice. I fear that you may well be right. Having
tried many things, in an effort to retrieve the doc., I imagine it is now
long gone and lost in the greater depths of my computer. However, your
advice will be remembered.

If you Save regularly, you can also Close the document without Saving as a
drastic form of Undo.
