Is there any way in Access to reverse the .mde file back
to an .mdb. I accidently deleted the .mdb file and need
to make changes to the database. Please advise.

Thanks

Do you have a backup copy of the .mdb file? There aint no way this side of
heaven to convert a .mde file to a .mdb file. Sorry!

Be very, very good. Never use Lookup fields in tables. Always normalize
your databases. And DO NOT Commit Spreadsheet. <g>

LOL

I should refer the O.P. of another thread I replied to this post ... The
Table is an exact copy of a spreadsheet, completely unnormalised and Field
names contain data (Jan, Feb, Mar, ...), trying to store data for 2 distinct
entities.

When I adivsed so, the O.P. claimed it is done by someone and she (Elsie)
only used the Table. However, she then asked whether another Table
structure she proposed is OK or not. I think she suggest the Table name
"0404" (for April 2004). 12 extra Tables per year of database operation???

Darn... No I don't have a backup. It looks like it is
rebuilding time.... Thanks for the info....

The queries and macros are natively importable from mde's into a new
database. .

You can import all the forms and reports at one time using Serge
Gavrilov's free tool "MDE forms/reports extractor v1.1".
