MDE created in 2003 with sendobject and 2007 crashing

Hi,

I have created an MDE using access 2003. One function is a button that uses
the sendobject function (docmd.sendobject) . It works for users using access
2003 but when users who have 2007 installed try the button (docmd.sendobject)
from this MDE application it crashes. Is there any know issues with doing
this?

I have tried using the mdb version of the mde on the 2007 client pc and it
works. Again...this same mdb converted into an mde file does not work
(causes a crash)?
Some insight would be greatly appriciated.

PS. I have converted the same mdb to access 2007 and then created the
associated .accde extension (presumably the mde equivalent in 2007 but I am
not sure cause I don't use 2007 enough) and it works. The problem with this
solution is that I now have two versions to maintain.

Thanks in advance for any feedback,

Thanks for the quick reply.
I will try this on site tomorrow.
I am curious...when you say "Just tried this in Access 2007 SP1" was this
after you duplicated my issue or your just works as is.
thanks

Just tried this in Access 2007 SP1, and it worked fine.

Converted an A2000 app to 2002/3 format.
Created an MDE using A2003 SP3.
Opened the MDE using A2007 PS1.
Clicked the button using SendObject.
The result was an Outlook 2007 window with the correct attachment.

Have you applied Service Pack 1 for Office 2007? If not, you can get it

I did not have an A2003 mde, so I took a working app that used SendObject,
converted to A2003, created the mde, and so on as explained.
