Norton is a bugger to uninstall. Recent McAfee not (usually).
Both fairly resource hungry, but McAfee less so.
I see infected machines running Norton, so far no machine I've
put McAfee on has had a problem (unless the user adjusted my
settings...)
I use Defender Pro 2005. It works great! Both programs work great, don't
slow down my labtop and Windows XP Security Center recognizes the
anti-virus, it does not recognize Defender Pro Firewall 1.0. Not that I'm
complaining.
